Company Profile

When does Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) report earnings? On Oct 28, 2026, after the close

None of its last 12 announcements carries a time on the filing, so there is no way to say which session they fell in. Each one comes from the 8-K with item 2.02 that Microsoft filed with the SEC, paired with the 10-Q or 10-K for that same quarter: 68 quarters since Oct 23, 2009, and every row links to its filing.

Next announced date: Oct 28, 2026, after the close. It comes from the company through the public Nasdaq calendar, not from the SEC: it is a scheduled date and companies do move it. Everything else on this page already happened, with its filing attached.

Where each number comes from

From the 8-K with item 2.02 ("Results of Operations and Financial Condition") that Microsoft filed on EDGAR, the SEC's public database; only those with their 10-Q or 10-K behind them count, so other 8-Ks with the same item (production figures, monthly sales) stay out. No time is published for this company: its EDGAR acceptance stamp and the official header of its filings disagree, so there is no way to know whether the stamp is in New York time or UTC, and the two readings are four or five hours apart —enough to change session—. The dates are firm; the time and the session are deliberately left empty rather than filled in with a guess.

What this data does not know

  • The exact time of the press release: the 8-K reaches EDGAR minutes or hours later, so any 8-K time is an upper bound. The session says which one the news landed in, not what minute it was said.
  • Nothing before Oct 23, 2009: it is Microsoft's oldest quarter with announcement and report paired in the file.
  • What will happen. The page's only future date, Oct 28, 2026, was announced by Microsoft on the Nasdaq calendar and can be moved.
  • Microsoft's identity is its SEC CIK (0000789019), not its symbol: symbols get recycled and renamed.
